About Us
MTQ was founded in 2003. Our headquarters are located in Germany in the Chiemgau region between Munich and Salzburg.
For more than two decades, we have been working with software and solutions for automated testing of electronics and semiconductors. Our team combines many years of experience in the testing environment with in-depth expertise in test software, measurement technology, production processes, and system integration.
Requirements in engineering and production continue to evolve. These experiences and the requirements of our customers are continuously incorporated into our products and services. At the center of this is our Tecap Automated Test Platform as a flexible software foundation for test systems and automated test processes.
Our goal is to make technical complexity manageable and to create solutions that remain usable, extensible, and economically viable over the long term. We therefore look beyond the individual test program and consider the interaction between the test system, test process, production environment, and the data generated.
For us, collaboration with our customers is just as important as the technical solution itself. Personal support, reliable assistance, and the long-term development of our products are therefore integral parts of our offering.
Our Philosophy
A good test strategy does not test as much as possible. It tests exactly what is required for quality, process reliability, and economic efficiency.
Our objective is therefore to reduce testing effort to the necessary level while gaining as much useful information as possible from the test process. Test results should not be viewed in isolation, but should contribute to the technical and economic development of products and manufacturing processes.
Automated testing is more than the execution of individual measurements. Different products and variants, test systems, measurement instruments, processes, production data, and quality requirements all need to work together reliably. A suitable software platform provides the foundation for keeping this complexity manageable over the long term.
Testing itself does not directly increase the value of a product. It is, however, an essential part of ensuring required characteristics, quality, and process reliability.
Testing therefore provides its greatest benefit when it is not treated as an isolated process step. Embedded within engineering and production, test results provide valuable information about products and processes and create the basis for continuous improvement.
