Configure Test System > Configure DUT and Application > Defining the DUT |
The DUT is defined via a user interface. Load the DUT as an image and insert the test points. Afterwards connect the test points with the instruments via switching routes.
In the upper part of the window, you see the image of the DUT (front and rear). The table shows the test points that you have highlighted in the image in the lower half of the window.
Click Load DUT Image to add an image of the DUT to the System Setup.
Automatically the image is integrated into the project.
Select the image from the file dialog. It is recommended to take a picture of the Board, of the plug or the wiring diagram to allow easy marking of the test points.
Click on Unload DUT Image to unload the current image of the DUT. You should then load an image, otherwise you no longer see the marks of the test points. The test points remain in place.
An image has to be integrated first.
The mouse cursor changes to a cross wires when passing over the image. Click where you want to set the test point. The test point automatically receives the name "TPn", where n is a sequential number. It is entered in the table at the bottom, where you can edit more details.
Hover over an existing test point with the mouse to select it (no click). The lower part of the picture shows the defined test points. You can select the test point in the table, too. The marking of the image and the table are synchronous, i.e. no matter where you choose to the point, the other display synchronizes to the same point.

The test point definition can be disabled if it shall not to be visible in the wiring. If you no longer need the test point you better delete it.
